Hello and welcome to game 2 of the best-of-three series between ImGoingPeoNs and Kane-. As you may recall ImGoingPeoNs was the victor of the last game, so this game could or could not decide the series!
Map: The Lost Temple
Players:Kane-:White Zerg (random), 9 o'clock.
ImGoingPeoNs:Purple Protoss (random), 12 o'clock
The game begins with both players using normal buildups. Kane- goes for an early expansion after his spawning pool completes, and sends a small force of 6 zerglings to guard it. He soon creates an extractor and begins to harvast gas. PeoNs appears to be going for a balance of tech and units, going with a 2 gateway, 3 pylon, and an extractor, with a cybernetics core shortly after that.
Kane-'s first overlord begins to move around the map counter clockwise, while PeoNs' scouting probe proceeds around the map clockwise. Because of this each player finds the other on the last leg of the scouting trip.
At this point Kane- makes a discovery joyous discovery!
Kane- decides to attack PeoNs with his zerglings. They get to PeoNs' ramp only to be met by 3 zealots. The zerglings are quickly slaughtered. PeoNs is NOT happy about this.
The sight of the 3 zealots must have scared Kane- because he immediately constructed a pair of sunken colonies at his natural.
PeoNs constructs a forge and another gateeway, as well as 5 more zealots, bringing his total to 8. He also warps a pylon in at the top of his ramp to support the sure to come photon cannons. Here is the minimap to help you keep track of the game so far:
Kane- morphs his hatchery into a lair and begins a spire in preperation for an areal assault.
PeoNs' highest tech building, however, is a citadel of adun. That soon changes though, when he warps in a templar archives. He also warps in photon cannons at strateigic locations
At this point Kane- expands once again, to the 6 o'clock mineral only natural. He later said chose this odd expansion spot so he could easily defend the natural and main of the 6 o'clock position while they were morphing (he later expands to both of these).
PeoNs finally expands to his natural, but Kane- also expands again, to his mineral only natural.
The number of bases are now Kane- 4, and PeoNs 2
. Kane- obviously has a HUGE resource lead.
Kane- has morphed a queens nest and a hive, and now morphs a greater spire.
Just as Kane- is bringing his newest expansion on-line, a probe waders in, followed by about 10 zealots and 3-4 dragoons. The expansion is totaled before any defensive forces can react.
Kane-, however, isn't just going to sit and watch his bases be totaled! He responds in kind by attacking PeoNs' main with 3 mutalisks.
PeoNs' attack force heads home and Kane-'s mutalisks are drivin off by dragoons. Both players beef up their defenses slightly.
Kane- was obviously scared by the attack, because while he is bringing his expansion at the 6 o'clock mineral only natural on-line, he fortifies it with 3 sunken colonies.
Kane- rebuilds the hatchery at his mineral only natural and brings it on-line. Here is an updated minimap.
Kane- morphs another sunken colony at his 6 o'clock expansion and uses the sadly underused nydus canal to connect his main and expansion. He also begins morphing a hatchery at the 6 o'clock mineral and gas natural. At this point he flies 4 mutaliskst to the cliff overlooking PeoNs' only expansion and begins morphing them into guardians.
While the guardians are morphing, Kane- expands again, this time to the 6 o'clock main, bringing his total of bases 6 six, compared to PeoNs' 2. But, PeoNs has amassed a very impressive attack force.

Kane- constructs a defiler mound at this point.
PeoNs takes his attack force and swarms over Kane-'s mineral only natural expansion with ease. The protoss forcess crush all opposition. They then move on the natural and annihalate it with minimal casualties. The protoss forces seem unstoppable!
In retaliation, Kane- unleashes the guardians on PeoNs' natural. They begin the zerg equivilent of a turbonewbie.
Kane- sends a medium sized force of mutalisks to deal with the assault, and another, larger force to attack PeoNs' main. The mutalisks cant deystroy the zealots fast enough and Kane-'s main is wiped out. The rest of the mutalisks go on to PeoNs' base and begin to deystroy things as quickly as they can, while PeoNs tries to deystroy all of Kane-'s bases before his buildings are deystroyed. It is a race to see who can deystroy the fastest. (on a side note the guardians were stormed to death while Kane-'s main was being deystroyed, and I missed it)
The race is on! Who can wipe out the other player the fastest? Drones and probes race across the map building hatcheries, extractors, and pylons everywhere they can while mutalisks and zealots race across the map deystroying them!
This goes on for about 5 minutes before Kane-'s last building is deystroyed by an archon and a probe.
And its finally over! ImGoingPeoNs wins the 2nd, and last game of the series! GGs are exchanged.
