Lifetime Rating for AMD-SUX: 5.0000 |  | I have been playing Broodwar for more than 1 year, and i met lots of great players. Yesterday i was getting really bored and i didn't feel like playing Broodwar so i decided to observe a game.
(Thanks for BattleReports.com) i downloaded some Observer's maps, and i started finding some good players on b.net!
After a long while 2 players had joined the game.
PLAYER 1: Newbie (i forgot the full name) top left ZERG
he said he only play starcraft for 3 monthes, his record was 76-10-3
PLAYER 2: $oul (i forgot the full name) top right TOSS
his record was 160-23-21 Ladder 1-1-0

Let the game begin!!!
Both players went for the usual build order in the early game, $oul built a Pylon at 7 than a Assimilator at 9 and a gateway at 12. Newbie built a Overlord at 8 ,Extractor, and pool. both players used 4 probes to mine gas as soon as the Extractor and Assimilator finished.
Both players decided to tech, $oul on the other hand decided to expand early and try to gain resource advantage!!
so he started a Cyber Core, and a add one more gateway, as soon as the Cyber Core finished, he added a Robotics Facility, and he also started making dragoons and upgarded the range of the dragoon.Also some Cannones for detection.(almost forgot)
On the other side, after found out $oul's position and race he was expecting a fast reaver drop, so he built Sunkens to defend his base,and upgarded his hatchery to lair but he didn't build any offensive units at all, and $oul already have a Shuttle which transportted a Probes to a 3 o'clock as soon as it came out. and 2 stargates were starting to make Corsairs. but Newbie finally make 2 chambers and a Hydralisk Den alone with 2 Spires, he used his buildings to surround his sunken (as u can see in the pic). And he finally add one more hatchery.
$oul who had 2 bases non-stop gathering resources, started to build up his armies, 6 Corsairs, 4 DT and 7 Dragoons;however,Newbie also started to build Hydralisks and Mutalisks.
$oul decided to make his first move, he loaded up 4 DTs on to his speed upgarded shuttle alone with 8 Corsairs send to Newbie's base. As soon as the Corsairs arrived in Newbie's base he attacked Newbie's 6 Mutalisks, with 5 Hydralisks' help they have no problems deal with Corsairs, but $oul saw that Newbie only have one Spore Colony, he suddenly target his Corsairs on the Overlord and only 2 of them were able to sneak out of the way, but $oul also lost 5 of his Corsairs, with the Overlord clear out a DT drop was able to kill half of Newbies drones before they killed buy a well place sunken and hydralisks.
After a successful attack $oul expand once again on the middle island where there were 2 mineral fields. and more Dragoons. he also built Arbiter Tribunal. ( Recall ) Newbie also upgarded his Lair to Hive.
Newbie finally decided to attack, he loaded up 4 overlord full of Hydralisks, and drop on $oul's island. $oul didn't notice that. as soon as the Hydralisk landed on the island they burrowed. and Newbie Command one of the hydralisk go near $oul's dragoons. $oul saw the little dot quickly send all of his dragoons to attack but found out there is only one Hydralisk which ran back to where the Hydralisks were hiding, as soon as the dragoons get near the burrowed Hydralisks, Newbie commanded to unburrowed and start attacking, although it was a great move, $oul just have too many dragoons, because of the resource advantage.
Newbie knew is way behind now he quickly expanded to 9 o'clock expasion and a Nydus Canal was built and he saved lots of money because he doesn't need to build any defence buildings.
Remeber the Arbiter Tribunal, $oul already have 2 Aribitor, i asked him if he has recall and he said he was waiting for the energy.
Newbie once again launch another attack but this time it was unsuccessful but he finally found out that $oul was going for dragoon drops.(good for him) so instead of building large groups of Hydralisks he decided to go for Lurkers.
Newbie built about 4 lurkers and send them to $oul's base and sneak inside and try to find a place where cannones couldn't reach. it was really lucky for him to find a stargate without any detection, Newbie's Lurkers almost destroy that stargate, but Observer came out just in time and dragoon did their job.(no blue soup for anyone).
$oul said that's it he has to finish that annoying zerg, but Newbie has 6 Lurkers and 5 Hydralisks defending his base, but $oul use his Corsairs and a Observer to scout his bases, and found out where the lurkers are, and 2 Arbitors were sent to Newbie's base, but because newbie saw the Observer he knows $oul was going for the other way so he quickly move his lurkers to a large spaces where he expect $oul to drop his units, and he guess it $oul recall his units on Newbie's lurkers, but the lurkers didn't attack why?? LoL cause Newbie has no detector there and Corsair did a find job keeping them away too!! $oul didn't know that there are lurkers under his troops, but he found that out after a overlord finally make it to the lukers but it didn't take long to kill that son of a lord. Than $oul send it a Observer. and this is it. Newbie surrander, but remeber he had a expansion.
Here is some funny staff,Knowing that he's going to lose anyway Newbie was pretty mad he load 2 overlord full of drones, and drop them on $oul's 4th expansion, and killed all 8 probes there, but a newlly build probes was able to build 5 cannones before it died.
