Lifetime Rating for ralessi: 6.2500 |   | Well, I decided I wanted to play some ladder, I got on vanilla SC(hey, I like that ladder better, not as many hackers/discers) and I logged on under ralessi. I had a rating of like 1000 from when I was a newbie, and decided to improve upon it. I faced one guy, he was toss and built nothing but zealots. I killed him with 6 muta o_O. The next game is the game I'll be writing about. I made a public game entitled, "1v1 1000+ lost temple." A guy with a rating of 886 enters. I go, umm... you aren't 1000+. He replies with oopsies. I'm like hmm... I guess I will play you. He is like go. He picked zerg, so I picked toss and started the game.
I started off with building 7 probes, then when the 8th one was 1/2 finished I built a pylon, I built a gateway with probe 11, and again with probe 13 - a pretty standard BO. I built zealots and probes continuously and pylons when needed.
Around this time, I plugged my ramp with zeals and scouted with a probe. When I got into his base, I saw 1 hatchery, 1 drone on gas, 4 drones on minerals, and about 25 zerglings. This was a hilarious site, and I forgot to take a picture =[.
Well, I realized this guy sucked ass, so I decided to have some fun. I started gas, put down a cyber core and a forge, and a pylon by my ramp. I put 4 probes on gas and started researching 1/0/0.
Around this time, he tried to push up my ramp with about 25 zerglings, my zealots and 1 canon I had mowed them down without any casualities.
I layed down a citadel of adun, researched 1/1/0, and expanded to my natural. I researched zealot legs, put down a 3rd and 4th gateway, and made about 6 goons and the rest zealots.
I scouted him again, same thing with a few exceptions. I saw a lair, same drone arrangement, 3 sunkens, about 30 lings, and a spire. I thought to myself, a spire, 30 zerglings, and 3 sunkens... Wow, this guy is good(cackle).
I put down a temp archives at home in case of a potential muta rush(ROFLMAO). I researched storm, made about 4 temps, when all of a sudden, here come 12 mutas. I think to myself, wow, how did he get all that money? He bunches them in a BIG group over my nexus, and with 1 storm I kill EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!! I think man this guy SUCKS!!!
Now, he keeps harassing me with these damn muta, so I will begin scout production. I put down a second cyber core, two stargates, and a fleat beacon. I start researching all of the upgrades while expanding to my second natural.
Also remember, during this time, he still has no expansions with 1 man on gas and 4 on minerals. I get bored, so I get 12 speed/sight 1/1/0 upgraded scouts, 12 3/1/0 range upgraded dragoons, and 12 3/1/0 speed upgraded zealots. I fly my scouts into his base first, kill all of his ovies(he had 6), and in his base, to my amazement, I see 5 drones on minerals, and 2 drones on gas... WOW HE BUILT MORE DRONES!!! I also see a queen's nest, a hive, and a greater spire. I bring in my 12 zealots and 12 dragoons and take out the rest of his base. To attempt to thwart my attemp to kill him, he sends at me 1 guardian and about 8 scourge. He kills 2 scouts, and I mow down the guardian, Loserboy has left the game(I forget his name it was a whole bunch of characters).
Lessons Learned:
1.) When you see a person that sucks this much, TAKE PICTURES.
2.) Vanilla SC rocks hardcore.
3.) Scouts rule
