Lifetime Rating for Anonymous: 4.0000 |  | This is my first battle report, i don't expect any rating that i got. Anyhow, here it goes:
Map: Dire Straights
Me:random toss bottem left (brown)
Opponent: slected toss upper left (blue)
I started my island build, 8th pylon, 9th assim., 10th gate,
12 cyber, etc....I decided to go reavers while holding 1 expansion. I built Robot fax, obsevertory, then support bay.
I dropped a probe and a goon to the island on top of me, then my intial scouting obsever saw that he was upper right and few gonns patroling his primetre. He was also going reavers when i saw a support bay. I secured the expansion with 4 or 5 cannons, then built a Nexus. About 2 sec later, i saw a blue dot in my mini map and saw a reaver, my 2 goons and a cannon have to trouble withi it while the shuttle left. My expansion was running and cash were coming into my bank. I built anothere Robo. fax and began reavers production. When i have about 5 or so reavers and a goon. My observers at his base's primetre saw that he had 4 shuttles full of goons coming to my right. I was wrong,he
landed to the top of my base. My reavers have no touble against them. Then 4 goons landed to my right side of the base, my reavers have to walk all the way down while my 2 poor goons (1/0/0) fighting the 1/1 goons. Then my reavers finished the job. About 2 min later, i have 4 shuttles (speed upgraded)total of EIGHT reavers. I landed to the left of his base. I felt so confident that my 8 reavers would whipped his a**. but 10 sec after i landed, a storm whooped my reavers, then his goons finished the job. (I guessed that he had just finsihed research psi storm or stored enuff energy.) Then i found he had an expansion at 12:00, so i decided to attack it while making an expansion at 6:00. 3 shuttles full of reavers and goons landed to his base. 1 ran to a cannon and died, the other 2 made it but the DT and HT whipped my ass. To make the story short, he attacked my 6:00 lightly defended expansion with 10 or so goons. This is pretty much all over for me, my main mined out and only 1 expansion. And he later made 1 on the large island to the right of his 12:00 expansion. He then attacked my expansion with corsairs disruption webed the cannons and attacked with his force. I said gg and conceded.
Lessons learned:
-Spread your troops whenever agianst a tosss, this mistake caused me the game and his 1 storm made my reavers weak.
-keep makin troops while attacking, i didn't do this while i attacked him.
-Expand and defended with troops and HT, not only cannons, i relied cannons too much while he can dwebed it.
