| Introduction
Welcome, I bring you this BR to you mainly because of my bordom. I was sitting there in Clan -x17 waiting for someone to ask for a 1v1. But when someone did, they would mention that there were no obs allowed to watch. So I sat somemore waiting for for a game. Finally someone asked for a 1v1, and as soon as I saw that, I quickly asked if I could obs. He said it was okay, so when I entered the game, I waited for the other player. We were soon joined by another observer, Peonstar;D. So without further ado, I bring to you....

Let's get this game started

ManiacZealot(aka maniac) spawned himself a Zerg Hatchery at the 9 position as teal Zerg. While his opponent, [LoR]-Punisher(aka punisher) lands his Command Center at the 12 position as yellow Terran. Their build orders went as follows:

Judging by their builds, I was left guessing that Maniac must have been going for a power build while teching to lurkers. While Punisher was going for some marines and medics, and possibly some firebats with the early gas. Early scouting took place as Maniac was sending his overlord in the wrong direction, sending it to 6. As Punisher sent his SCV straight to 3, then 6, finally 9 finding his opponent quite late. As soon as the first expansion hatchery finished morphing, Maniac sends a few drones there to begin their mining operations, also producing some zerglings for protection and scouting. All is quiet as Maniac begins an extractor for gas while building creep colonies in his expansion.

Later morphing them into sunkens for extra defense. After morphing up some sunkens, he quickly began an extractor in his expansion. Thanks to the two resource nodes, he was now on the verge of building a lurker/hydralisk force as he was now upgrading his hatchery into a Lair, and getting an evolution chamber and hydralisk den. His Terran foe, Punisher, however, was not idle at all during this. He had constructed himself a Academy for early medics as well as a factory and comsat to counter the deadly lurkers his opponent was gunning for. After a couple of comsats, he was now well aware that the expansion was up and running, while beginning the construction of a starport for dropping capabilities. During all this, his marines were taking a small break with the medics.
/br/rines5.jpg) Because of the construction of an Engineering Bay, he was now building himself a turret defense around the perimeter of his main.
Time to be gay
Punisher had now bought himself a dropship and already sent it on its way to the ridge of Maniac's expansion. He was, however, able to detect this before it even started and quickly set up double expansions at the 6 main and natural. After building the dual expos, Maniac had begun a Queen's Nest perhaps for the production of what people call cracklings. Punisher, must have been enjoying himself as the turbo newbie was doing great. Well maybe the SCV didn't think so.

With the turbo newbie being successful, Punisher decides do expand to his own natural. This was soon scouted by Maniac in which he send down a medium sized force of hydralisks and lurkers to the expansion. Hmm.. Time for a minimap update.

Now that I got that out, back to the action. Thanks to the tanks he had stationed on his ramp, Punisher was able to keep the lurkers from going through. However, a few zerglings and some hydralisks broke through, forcing Punisher to retreat his remaining marines and medics.

However, those few hydras were able to inflict a great deal of damage to the expansion. Punisher had now finished his tech to Science Vessels and was now using them to push his way out of the containment made by Maniac. However, Punisher had now lost his expansion, but was seeking revenge on his zerg opponent.

He was showing this simply by sending out his force consisting mainly of marines and medics, mixed with a few tanks. During the expansion raid, Maniac was now teching to the very used and gosu unit....

Yes he was teching to defilers. Punisher had now sent his force to the mineral only expansion of Maniac. But a majority of of Maniac's forces were now at his expansions at 6 as he made another one at the mineral only. The game was fairly close. As Maniac had a far lead in resources over Punisher, but for some strange reason, their armies seemed equal. But Punisher had tanks and science vessels that may even it out. Who do you think will win???
