Introduction: Its a beautiful Sunday morning. I've just gotten back from church and I feel quite well. I boot up my computer immediately on my return and start up bw to play in a tournament I've entered with my clan, -=NBK=-. It was a very exciting tournament, filled with everything that Starcraft is supposed to be full of; the joy of killing your best friend, and either the joy that your friend has succeeded greatly in killing you, or the rage building up that you will burn his house down. I'm getting off the subject. I apologize. Anyways, I have succeeded in making it to the semi-finals after defeating Kohog-=NBK=- and LimpBkzkit-=NBK=-. Now I face Death-=NBk=-, a worthy adversary. The game begins soon after i join our channel. We play on the Lost Temple ( and whoever said that this map is really overplayed is right! ). I will refer to Death-=NBK=- as Death and myself as Hot Rod (of course). I had unfortunately had something wrong with my computer, and all my pics from the game were screwed up, to my dismay. And now I shall end my introduction.

-START OF ACTUAL REPORT-

(I will be talking in third person)
(Death's account of the game is included in the report)

Hot Rod starts in the 2:00 position whereas Death begins in 12:00. Hot Rod begins a standard wall-in at his cliff. Hot Rod's build order is:
build 7 scvs
8th-supply depot at wall
10-barracks at wall
11-depot at wall
13-barracks and bunker close to the wall

Death at first looks like he is going for a standard 12 drone hatchery at his expansion, but he does something slightly different after getting his first overlord. Instead of expanding to his expansion, he starts a hatchery at Hot Rod's expansion in an effort to block him in.

Hot Rod's wall proved to be more of a nuisance than a protection. Hot Rod wasn't able to get may men through to stop the expansion, plus Death had already spawned some zerglings to protect the growing hatchery. Soon, after 3 minutes of constant struggling back and forth, the hatchery is completed with 5 zerglings protecting it, with more on the way. Hot Rod is doing his best to get to tanks, but the distraction has cost him dearly in time and resources.

The sunken colony is completed and starts destroying the wall made by Hot Rod. Suddenly, a tank comes rolling out of Hot Rod's factory, sieges safely outside of range, and starts destroying the sunken colony. The colony is destroyed, and it Death sends all his zerglings there to destroy the tank; however, a marine-filled bunker destroys them before much damage is done.

While the preceding had been taking place, Death had expanded to the 9:00 position and had spawned 1 hatchery and a spire (he already had upgraded to lair at his main). Death begins the construction of mutalisks.

After wiping out the hatchery in his own expansion, Hot Rod proceeds to replace it with another command center. Hot Rod also begins to organize marines, medics, and tanks to lay siege to Death's main.

Death is the first to attack with 8 mutalisks at Hot Rod's worker line. About 6 SCVs are eliminated before a squad of marines arrive to kill the flying assassins. The mutalisks fly away, however, instead of fighting back.

While Hot Rod keeps making a bigger army, he constantly loses buildings due to Death's guerilla tactics on Hot

Rod's base. Hot Rod's attempt to expand has failed twice, and Hot Rod is running out of money back home.

Hot Rod starts to strike back. He has manuevered 4 dropships full of tanks marines and medics to drop on the west side of Death's main. They are dropped and are successful in destroying over half of the workers.

During this time, Death had created an army of around 15 guardians, 6 devourers, and 3 overlords for detection, and sends them to destroy Hot Rod's task force. Death is successful in eliminating the army, but has lost his main hatchery, an evolution chamber, and 3 sunkens at his main.

Death decides that because Hot Rod probably sent most of his men to attack, it is best to attack him now before he begins recreating his army.

Sure enough, Hot Rod only had 9 marines and 4 tanks at home. Hot Rod had started production of wraiths, but they didn't finish in time to combat Death's guardians and devourers. Soon, an army of 24 hydralisks join the fray as they rip through Hot Rod's entrance. Hot Rod concedes to Death. The players exchange 'gg's and Hot Rod is defeated.

In conclusion, I decide to mourn for the lost souls of my army by fasting for 30 days and torturing myself by wathcing reruns of "Care Bears" for 5 hours everyday. Hopefully after much reconstruction of my 'strategery' in Starcraft is done, I might actually start winning again.

How do you think I could have won this game? What did I do wrong that I should have done differently (please dont say stuff like,"You just suck,". I already know that)? Feel free to comment about it.
