It was a cold, icy night on the iceflows of a small planet where I first beheld my zerg nemisis...
Aww screw this, I am YourRoleModel, so I do not need to write a fancyass fantasy report. I was playing a one on one game against Dr.Clone on IceFlows. He chose zerg, and I chose terran. Why terran? I love a challenge.
A small 96x96 map favors Marines, Medics and Tanks, but it also provides an excellent opportunity for an early zerg rush or a lurker rush. Dr.Clone was under 500 on the ladder, but had a stunning regular record. He either played alot of good ladder people and lost, or he sucked and got his other wins in 3-1 computers. Since he did have ladder wins, I figured he was competent. I started at the top location.
I scouted with my 7th SCV to check for a 6-pool, and went on to build a RAX, Depot, RAX. The second RAX came after I saw he was not 6-pooling but had an assimilator down instead. I smelled a Lurker Push!
By the time his overlord scouted me, I had a marine reporting for duty and a second one on the way. Instead of chasing his overlord off the cliff, I sent a marine, Bob, to the base of the cliff first to meet it.

The fat blob of poo-gas was nearly toast when 6 lings hit Bob the Marine from behind. Bob didn't stand a chance, but his sacrifice allowed for me to get my 3 marines on the cliff over to the choke behind the depot that was sitting there.
The early game was over. I attempted to get into his base with some marines and medics, but I saw lurkers on the way and retreated. I used hit and run tactics back to my base, which allowed for a few turrets to be erected. Between comstat, towers, and stim with medics, I was content to hold him off until I had tanks and science vessels. I went 2 starports, and made 2 overlord harrassing wraiths as my science center was building.
I had troops and turrets scattered around my base, knowing to expect a drop since he didn't have a spire yet. Sure enough, he drops 4 lurkers into my base behind my line, losing an overlord to my perimiter. I had a tower that could see 2 of them, and a tank and marines blasting away. I lost 4 SCVs, 6 marines and a tower, but I fought him off. Had he dropped hydras, I had enough marines to win that battle easy.
Comstat revealed that he had expanded 2 times. While I fought off and repaired from his drop. I killed one of his expansions with wraiths as the hatchery was just starting, and I sent my first science vessel along the path my marines and tanks would have to walk to his other expansion, to the west of his main base. I killed a few lurkers, set up a minimal drop defense at home, and I also flew a CC to the valuable middle expansion and started to set up defenses there. (picture below, and don't forget to look at the minimaps).

Finally Dr.Clone saw his expansion destroyed, he was out of cash, and it was only a matter of preventing him any expansion and laying waste to his Main. After taking out some drones that were moving to expand, Dr.Clone surrendered.
I'm not Mark4's Role Model... sigh.
 Bob the Marine takes aim.
I had some defenses at home while I went attacking.
I win! I win! Outresourced again.
