Panicky Huntresses And Their Stupid Demon Hunter

This is my last hidden text
Today on Jerry Springer we bring youPsyonic's gay report featuring himself as the purple-gay-with the gym teacher like voices Night Elves vs HurtnTime's red druggie pimp men.

Ok that was an idiotic attempt of being funny and not working. But it does get the point across of reminding you of who's who.
In case you skipped the first part of my Battlereport. I'll just do a quick recap. The game started off with some Water Elemental rushing and Psyonic being able to hold it off. Psyonic then creep'd abit and a scout revealed Hurt's expansion. He attacked, lost, Attacked Hurt's main, was driven off, then re-attacked it and lost. Psyonic has his natural as his sole income and that brings you up to where we are.

Right. Now I would have liked a better defense for my nat. but the only thing I currently had was 3 Hunts. My main Tree of Ages was just walking down the ramp into my nat., and my AoW's were still slowly lumbering toward it. So the odd's are pretty much against me now, and thats how HurtnTime liked them. He hit my expansion with all that he had. 6 footmen and a WE to accompany his hero into the fight that would determine if Psyonic is still the bigget loser of B.Net or just another Lucky Newbie. (Wow I've mentioned him twice now)

The fight was furious as my hunts managed to kill his hero without loss but almost losing my Tree of Life to the footmen. They managed to take it down to 75 HP before I realized that it was on fire and put some wisps on it to repair.I love my peice of crap pics.
My Tree of Ages finally arrived, scaring him off, but he took his vengence on one of my repairing wisps before leaving. Now would have been a perfect time to counter him. If I had an army to do so. My AoW's finally arrive so I sat their fat asses down and started producing huntresses while my hero was reviving.

When I had a pale image of my army back, (5 hunts with a lvl 7 Demon Hunter) I wanted to see if I could wreck up his main some more. Well, my plan went to hell when I met his forces just outside my nat.
Looks like he's shooting it from his penis.
Wait a second? Whats that other glowing figure? A Paladin? Oh boy, I got joy. And what are those footmen doing on horses? Aw crap... I managed to retreat 2 of my huntresses back into my nat. while the others died. My hero then ran around like a big fricken moron, (What I didnt notice is that his hero was down to 17 health) and was chasing Hurt's hero back to base. Well, he's screwed I thought. Until I saw HurtnTime's army turn around and enter my base, with the Paladin leading no doubt. Now I'm double screwed.

I was now trying to micro two battles at once. On one side I have my hero squared off vs his. The other, my expansion vs his army. I have to do a trade off. Either my hero runs back, allowing his hero to follow adding his support of WE's or I kill his hero and risk losing my expansion. Here's the choice I made. I am bleeding. Making me the victor!
After my DH's mission was a success, I sent him to my main to heal at the wells. Meanwhile, my expansion wasnt fairing as good. My guarding Tree of Ages was getting surrounded. So I uprooted a AoW to help support it while the other is macroing hunts. My tree's are doing jack and taking damage fast, so I bring some wisps over to help repair them. Suddenly both my tree's get a direct hit on Hurt's Paladin taking him down to the red and then before he can react a green ball of fire hits him in the face, taking him down! Yes! Metamorphed DH: 1 Paladin: 0

At the loss of their supporting hero the army turns tail and runs. Leaving my Defending AoW at 17 Hp and my Tree of Ages at full health. (Thank gawd that wisps can repair fast at least)
We are the Knights who say Ne!

At this time I'm now worried that Hurt might have a 2nd expansion going on right under my nose. So I send a hunt to scout the 3 o'clock main and nat while sending my DH, a hunt, and a wisp to the bottom left corner to expand. It was quite simple to run past the creeps guarding the merchent and taking out the creeps at bottom left was a easy. I took it without a loss. My scouting hunt just found sleeping creeps at the 3 main and nat.

I fiqured now was a good time to attack. So after healing my hero at my main I grabed about 10 hunts and made my way up expecting his troops holding the high ground. I found nothing blocking my way. Continuing on I razed his barracks and his Castle just as HurtnTime's army arrived. I retreated, deciding that now wasnt the time for a final battle.
My army leaves the base and I see him do the same, but he dosnt chase after me. Instead I see them run to the right. Either he's wanting to protect an expansion or he's waiting for me to do that again. So I did an experiment. I ran back in and razed about 3 farms before he came in to drive me off. Saving only 2 very damaged farms and a blacksmith. $50 bucks says he has an exp. Oh while we're talking about expansions. My ToL at bottom left has just finished entangling the gold mine, so I created 5 wisps and stuck'em in there.

I try my luck for a 3rd time to enter his base but no go. Accidently I allowed 2 hunts to go off and get killed. But I suppose it stalled the knights while a 3rd snuck into his expansion at the 3 o'clock natural where she killed a peon before being put down. I decided that if he got that online, I would be facing a lot more knights. I decided to go Teir3 to upgrade my hunts to 3-3 and get the extra glave bounce, so I rooted my Tree of Ages and began upgrading.
To try and get Hurt's mind off expanding, I launched an attack on the 12 o'clock natural, which had become a 2nd main to Hurt. I casted an owl into a tree just before entering so I knew when those blasted knights showed up, I could make my escape before they reached me. By some measure of luck I also sent a Hunt to HurtnTime's expansion, delaying his knights as I had her stall his army.

She didnt stall for very long though as they came charging up. I would have already half destoryed his nat. if it wasnt for his stupid AM casting WE's all over the place. So I chased the AM down doing some damage before I really had to deal with the knights. Instead of running like I had planned, I thought I could win the game here and now if I killed off these knights. Here's the short story of it. I killed 1 knight. He killed my 11 hunts. Dosnt that sound wonderful? I'm sure he'll submissively say GG anytime now. =/ The only positive note I have is that My tree finally upgraded. So now I have a Tree of Eternity. So I start the 3rd weapons upgrade and the glave bounce.

Late Game

So I run my hero back to base. Heal up, and decide I need another expansion and the 6 o'clock natural sounds like the perfect place. Luckly, I had been macroing well during the battle and I had 10 hunts ready to go again. Strangly, I found the 6 o'clock nat. to be cleared of creeps and just a lone enemy peon in their place. I slew him and decided to hold off on expanding there for awhile. So instead, I attacked the 12 o'clock natural again. I was doing fairly well when I saw something that I had never seen before in any of my NE vs Human games.
wtf is that?

I learned to forever fear that blue light as it brought in Hurt's entire army. I ran into the 12 o'clock main, stopped to kill the blacksmith then ran like hell. But I know how Hurt thinks now. I quickly run back in and destoryed the last of the buildings that occupy the 12 main. (2 Farms if you really wanna know) Thinking that I have the lead, I take a wisp and expand to the 6 o'clock nat.

Meanwhile, I had 2 ballistas and 2 hunts on their way to the 3 o'clock nat. (Around this time my Nat's gold mine went "Boom") I decided to move my army to the top and right on the outside of the temple grounds, and see what happens when I attacked his expansion with just that small force. Hurt reacted by sending down his army to take care of the problem. But just as he passed by, with his hero trailing, I struck. Now it was time to see who was the winner and who was the loser.
Here's to trying...Rhymes with dying.

The battle was so intense that neither side micro'd, but just let the troops battle it out. (Because in the end, it dosnt even matter....Er wait) I would call the main battle a draw seeing how I lost half my hunts chasing down his hero and killing him while discovering Hurt's new expansion at the 3 o'clock main. But I managed to take down his 3 o'clock natural, only losing my ball's.

Now my hero had survived the battle and was on his way home, along with my surviving hunts, to heal. Now that I was safely home I was thinking of moving my ToE to the 6 o'clock main. But I found it already down in that area. In fact, it was on a attack course with Hurt's 3 o'clock expansion. It was spotted before I could move it away and was destoryed. Oh well, I already have 3-3 and its not like I'm going to get anything else but hunts. =/

My 6 o'clock expansion entangled the mine just as HurtnTime scouted it. I had 5 wisps hanging around so I decided to have them repair my tree, since it was obvious he wasnt paying attension to them. But this attack also annoyed the hell outa me as I was all the way up at the 12 main, ready to attack. Instead of using my TP (I thought I had already used it) I ran my forces down. I chased his forces around the temple awhile before he retreated to his fortess in the 3 o'clock main. (When I mean a fortress, I mean 3 semi walled-in Guard Towers) During this time I had 2 ballista's hitting his alter of kings.
Any chap who can point at you and say ''Die'' has the distinct advantage

This is what Hurt must of been complaining to me about during the game when I did that. But thats not what should of concerned him at the time. Because I had just razed his 3 o'clock expansion. (Which he had rebuilt) After I finished mopping that up. I sent my forces to help clear the rest of the buildings in the 12 Nat.

Now it was time to assault HurtnTime's last bastion of power. When zombies come to attack you. Shoot them in the head.
The battle was over in a few short minutes as the remaining troops were still heavily damaged and the 3 guard towers posed no challage with their defenders gone. With no troops left, and his alter of kings destoryed again (His hero was 2sec from being built in that one too) Hurt called out a "GG" and left the game.

Lessons Learned

1)Woah. That was a close freaking game. I dont know how I managed to survive but that just goes to show you, always stay in a game until the last man. You never know what might happen.
2)Scout, Scout, Scout. Hurt could have easily defeated me if he had scouted me after every battle, seeing me lacking troops.
3)Up until I needed to expand I was doing quite well off of one gold mine. This is another example of why I like WC3 over SC, you dont need 3 bases to win the game. (Most of the time)

Well I'd like to thank you all for reading my report. Took me two weeks to write this blasted thing up because I'm such a lazy SOB. Please leave comments on how I can improve my writing or my pictures. I'm all ears. Oh, and if you want the replay of this game. Go search for it, I've already posted it.
