Okay this is the most hilarious 3v3 comeback ever, it is worth reading. I don't have any place to upload a replay, but here's what happened, I'm taking notes as I watch the replay. We are coming off of a huge 5 game losing streak. I really don't like it when people post summaries of games they play without being specific, so I was way specific. It is worth the read and at least read the last paragraph. If you want the replay, just leave me your aol screen name.

3on3 on Dark Forest (which is a pretty small map)
Team 1=me nightelf, random(undead), random (undead)
Team2=nightelf, nightelf, random(nightelf)
We are south, they are north, I'm lower left on the south side.

Triple hero rush(dh/dh/kotg), I kill one demonhunter, they retreat. They come back at the 6min mark with 4 huntresses, they all have done a two AoW huntress rush, 8 of them are upgraded with 1 attack.

8min 30 sec: my base is dying lost both AoW to 22 huntresses. My partners at that time did what tehy could to help me with about ~12 ghouls a piece (both were teching up since they knew I was dead, one had expanded). I rebuild demonhunter it gets out before altar is killed, and 2 wisps get away. I have 922 gold and a decent amount of wood so I make a new base.

9min-13min: The huntress army continuous to do substantial damage to one undead base, but runs away due to 3 spirit towers coming up and a black citadel.

15min mark: My tree of life completes building (entangling gold mine) my other tree of life at an expansion is almost done. During this time my partners have successfully teched up to gargoyles. The opponent attacks one of my partners, at this time they have 6 gargs, 12 ghouls, 2 heroes vs 2 ballista, 18 hunts and 3 archers. Gargs kill the ballista, and the nightelf army runs away to regroup while they prepare anti-air. One partner counters and forces a tree to uproot and attack with his army of 2 heroes and 10 ghouls while his base was being attacked.

16min mark: my 2 AoW are almost done building, I have stayed hidden during the battle to avoid suspicion. My opponents armies have regrouped and one of my partner's T3 connection went out as the power went out 3 times. He leaves me enough gold to build some units with his base. At this point in the game, opponents are at the following supply: 43, 58 and 43. They have combined: 15 hunts, 6 archers, 7 dryads and 8 druids of the talon vs 15 gargs. Our 15 gargs cause them to run off after doing substantial damage to the undead base.

17min: one partner disconnects, leaving me his 8 gargs and the ability to produce about 5 more and 8 ghouls.

19min mark: one partner loses his expansion, and our roughly 12 gargs are killed by a few archers, 8 DotT and 2 hippogryphs. I build a 3rd AoW and start building huntresses.

21min: My partner has 7 gargs+2 spirit towers and is out of money, the disc partner has 6 gargs that I forgot about building, and nothing except for 3 spirit towers and a black citadel. They attack my 7 garg partner and decimate his expansion with 14 hunts (2 attack, 2 armor), 13 dryads, 4 archers, 3 demonhunters (1 level 6), a kotg, and 8 druids of the talon, also a shredder is thrown in to be cute. My partner says GG, and they respond with GG and all that jazz, thinking it's over as they attack his base. My dead partner gives 700 gold and 700 wood. At this time I take the initiative and head over to kill possible expansions with my level 3 DH and 10 (1 attack 0 armor) huntresses. I find none. During this time I continue pumping huntresses out of 3 AoW.

23 min: As the gg's were being said, I decide to let out the classic battle cry of "let's rock mother fuckers, balls to the walls bitches!" (okay I really didn't say that, it would attract too much attention). My secret army of 11 hunts and a lev 3 DH make their debut in one base right as they all run out of gold at their main bases. They believed that all they had to do was kill these 5 gargs and 2 unitless bases and they'd win, so they hadn't bothered expanding as they razed my partner's base. I maraud around and kill a few units. They don't see a threat to me, since their armies combined still outnumber me vastly, one has 60 supply the others 50 and 56. (see the unit count from above for the breakdown in units). They send one army to chase me around and fight me, and the other 2 armies go down to kill the disconnected player who has 7 gargs and 10 ghouls I forgot about+3 towers+ black citadel base. Luckily I forgot about them and didn't use them to aid my other friend, so when they attack moved to finish off the undead base they didn't realize what they were getting into and lost a large amount of units (I assume they were trying to coordinate expansions as well, now that they saw I was still alive and a threat).

24min: Hilariously, now I'm pumping out of 3 AoW's with a 4th building and with 2 gold mines that took FOREVER to get going, I now have built 7 more huntresses between the time I went out to scout with 10 for a total of 17 huntresses and am at 70 food. Right then my main base gold mine ran out. Level 6 DH owns my level 3, and I lose most of my hunts and my hero and run away. The cocky bastards had finally realized that maybe they should run away from the black citadel and few gargs that were left living and deal with me. Seriously, this is the exact food amount these guys lost: the army sent to me went from 60 food to 48, I went from 70 food to just 5 huntresses. The base defended by idle ghouls/ gargs from the disc guy lost most everything, but had black citadel intact. The 2 armies that attacked that went from...get this... 56 food to 16 food, and 50 food to 16. They had their heroes left though. I found that hilarious, that they didn't realize that I had continued building with green after he left (heck, I had forgotten that I had those few units there too), and didn't see the threat I posed since orange owned my army. I guess it was deceptive since I didn't go help my other undead partner during the battle with the disconnected undeads army. Of course my huntresses were purposefully kept a secret .

So here's what happens between 24min and 48min. By now I'm sweating bullets, and though my demonhunter is dead and not close to level 6, I myself metamorphosize into a mad clicking machine, I visualize myself as one with the mouse, my whiteness fades, and I become Korean. One tries to attack my expansion, I fend them off without a hero (forgot to build altar) and the other two go to heal, and two of them uproot their trees or build expansions with wisps. I run around and kill expansions as they come up, and end up killing 2 level 6 DH's and assorted units without my hero, so no experience for me. And get this, while I'm doing that and lose nearly all my huntresses in the process, what shows up at the door of my expansion? A tree of ages, 2 AoW's and a tree of lore. I almost burst out with a "kekekeke" as they raze the expansion, and then I remember that it's mine. The funniest thing ever is to lose an expansion and have it taken over by 4 trees. I didn't have enough troops to save my expansion at that time. Luckily, I had just enough money saved for another exp. So I run around with about 12 huntresses and a level 3 DH trying to stop expansions everywhere while conserving my DH. This makes me lose several of my units, and players get JUST enough money to revive a level 7 DH which becomes level 8 pretty soon. He kills my expansion,and I kill his and all the remaining trees of life on the map.

I notice a trend that all the trees with fighting capabilities appear to be moving closer and closer to my base...... I build 2 ancient protectors. There are 10 ancients of war/wind/lore and a level 8 DH with infinite mana wells across the map. These 10 ancients ominously creep to my base, and I have no expansion. A mere lvl 4 dH and about 12 huntresses vs 10 ancients in formation and a level 8 DH +2 hunts....I build an expansion in their territory, and get it going, and start building another by the time the ancients reach me. I show great tree micro as I surround my 2 ancient protectors with 4 trees and hold them there (trees suck at holding position). This ends up winning the game, the opponents leave since they can't get to my AP's, and yours truly is the victor. Sorry that this was so long. What an ending.
