Map: Lost Temple
Me: Protoss, 6:00
Him: Zerg, 3:00
I made the game "1v1 first ladder (1000)" and after a minute or so in joined this guy with a B in his name, so I'll call him B. As the clock clicks down he switches to zerg.
I figure a ling rush, so I do a 7.5 probe (8th halfway warped in, I grab a probe returning the 100th minerals and have him make a pylon). I then went gate on 9, and 11. I start making zealots, and have 2 when in come lings (Obviously not a dedicated rush, as it's only a few, and all he does is let my zealots chase them around until they die, I don't even bother to watch it.
It did however mess me up and kept me from making an assimilator as quick as I would've normally (He came in when the cybercore was first warping in). I stuffed my choke with zeals, and made 2 or 3 goons, my first killing his OL near my base.
Soon (I have say..5-7 maybe 8 zeals, 2 goons) a mass of lings come running in, but retreat when they find the nasty defence. I get a robo fac, when it comes out I order a shuttle and support bay, and a minute or so later get a 2nd robo fac. First reaver pops out, I load up on scarabs, take him into the shuttle and cruise around to the guy's base avoding being detected by anything..
(I had sent a zeal into get a look at what he's doing a moment b4.. I see a spawning pool, evo chamber, sunken, spore, lair, and a spire morphing into a greater spire!?) I drop the reaver.. 3 muties kill it, no damage, shuttle goes down a sec later.
I know am desperate so I send all the goons and zealots I have (One of my gates AGAIN puts my fucking goons where they can't get out.. I think it was stuck between my nexus, pylon, and a cyber core!! I HATE THIS BULLSHIT RIGHT HERE AS WELL!
At the same time, all I have left to do is load a shuttle full of 2 goons and send it over also, but the attack is smashed in 2 seconds, and so are the goons/shuttle... I quickly expand to my natural and lower right, and as a pylon and the nexus are warping in here come mutas.. guardians.. devourers.. gone.
I had done a horrible Maynard transfer from my main to my expansion, but I knew I had nothing to defend mutes/devourers/guardians. like 1 goon, 1 zeal.. WOW! I concede.
-Lessons Learned
o I realize the uselessness of games if you suck. If a person sucks at a game, he cannot enjoy it, unless he likes losing all the time or something. But this really saves me some troubles. I will barely ever be on the internet anymore, I won't need a new computer, and I won't have to spend my money on pointless games that are impossible for me to enjoy. Please, flame away, I don't care 1 damn bit. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna uninstall BW (and put it away where I can't get to it).
o I don't know where the hell some of you people get good at SC.. you have to have some kind of natural talent, or otherwise you'd always suck and lose, never becoming any better like me! Dammit, when you're a nerd like me and (esp) during the summer there's not much else to do but play these games! Yeah, I know, get a life.. maybe I can't, so don't bother saying it. I wasn't gifted with the greatest looks/personality/other crap like that either.
o Yes I'm complaining, if you don't like it delete it. Hell, you let a big long pointless argument over racism, why not let this one be part of the party! |
