I'm just praying this one works on the first try, I don't want to clutter things up too much. I hope I've got the whole image editing thing down pat, especially now that YRM has drastically raised the perception of quality battle reports. Anyway, here goes.

The Map
Often despised REGULAR hunters, which wouldn't be that bad of a map if it weren't somewhat imbalanced. But hell, LT isn't really fair either.
Well, after having a great amount of difficulty getting a 2v2 going, me (under an alternate name of Mikey`Creep) and my friend Negative`Creep created a game on hunters. Soon two opponents had joined, and the game commenced. My partner, here on referred to as Neg, picked terran and touched down at 6 o'clock, whereas my Command Center landed at the 12 o'clock spot. Since 2v2s are often decided by the first successful rush, me and my partner both went for early three rax builds so that we might pump marines. Unfortunately, I am unused to the fastest setting, and hit supply early on. This slowed down my marine production tremendously, although I did manage to crank out a good number early on. My scouting scv revealed blue in the top right corner, and I observed a purple scv moving down to scout from the top left. Hmm. An all terran party. And I was caught in between my opponents, with my partner all the way across the map.
Me and my partner decided to double rush purple. We assembled approxiamtely 18 marines outside of my base, and rushed in... only to be met by a hail of gauss fire from two fully loaded bunkers at the entrance to purple's natural. We retreated our surviving marines, leaving them at my choke to ward off the inevitable counter attack. Knowing that it was too late to rush, me and Neg decided that he would go for a brute force of mass units. I would try and avoid the inevital double team and tech somewhat to provide some of the more expensive units. I produced two factories, and slipped two scvs away from my main to the 4 o'clock start for later expansion. Unfortunately, my purple adversary beat me to tanks, and I was forced to use brute force marines to stop an early tank push. I never seem to learn that you need tanks early in Terran vs. Terran, but hey, maybe a few losses will drill it into me.
In order to keep both enemies from attacking me, Neg set up a blockade of bunkers and tanks, with a turret or two, at the entrance to blue's natural. This prevented anything other than a weak cross water siege on my main from blue. I made more tanks and vultures to hold my choke, and researched spider mines.
My Vultures prepare to place mines in front of Neg's blockade to prevent any counter attacks.
Fearing cloaked wraiths, I made an engineering bay, and placed turrets around my base and at my choke. I researched the weapons upgrade for my infantry, and made a starport and armory. I claimed the 4 o'clock spot as my own and fortified it with a tank/bunker/turret defense. I attempted to Maynard transfer some scvs to my new expansion, but they were blown into rubble by arclite rounds. It would seem my purple adversary had advanced his push to cut off my main totally. Thank God for that SCV I slipped out earlier on, or I would have found myself effectively contained.
Purple was constantly knocking at my door with wraiths and marines and tanks. He used comsat very effectively to spot for tanks, and I was holding him off by the skin of my teeth. I had a gas shortage, but a surplus of minerals, so I placed 3 more raxes to bring me to a total of six, and began cranking marines.

You can't see his tanks in the fog of war, but an exploding arclite round is clearly visible among my marines as he spots with comsat.
Neg lays into blue with the rarely used goliath.
Now the tides had truly turned. I decided it was time to show purple that when the nuke comes calling, you'd better clear out. I cloaked a ghost, and then used wraith flybyes to find a good spot to plant a nuke. I noticed the northern part of his blockade was noticeably light on detection, and he hadn't bothered with sci-vessels that I knew of. The only detection he could use to spot the ghost would be comsat, so I would have to find a crafty place to put my little agent of Armageddon.
I stuck him in an out of the way corner of the coastline, more towards his base than mine. I cloaked the ghost, and let fly the nuke. He saw the dot easily, and after blanketing the area in comsats he found the ghost. Since the ghost was in tank range, he assumed the threat was neutralized and left his tanks sieged in place. Fortunately, it takes more than one arclite blast to kill a ghost, and a nearby sci vessel was able to get off a d-matrix mere micro-seconds before the second blast hit. With only 7 hitpoints left on my ghost, the nuke began a plunge towards purple's blockade. He began unsieging his tanks... too late.
A dose of nuclear holocauste and my opponent was suddenly down one tank push.

My little hero and his seven hitpoints. Shouldn't ghosts get credit for kills made by nuke? Seems only fair...
Neg and I assembled our forces. He provided a huge amount of marines and a smattering of tanks, wraiths, and gollies, and I provided sci vessels and the last group of tanks and marines that had managed to survive my constant warfare with purple. With d-matrixed marines walking point we marched through purples base.

We wrecked his expansion and then continued on to his main. He asked for an allied victory, and we gave it to him. GGs were exchanged on a game well played.
Our victorious armies march through the enemies' occupied city.
