Hi, and welcome to CbK_Chris666's fourth sexy battlereport. Before I played this game, I had justed been owned by this loser who used tanks in the gayest fashion. His allie, named Daemonlaud, asked me if I had ever gone to battlereports.com. I said yes. So, after my horrible defeat, we met in channel Box, and decided to play a 1v1 on the Hunters. I picked purple toss and DL randomed red toss at the 3 & 5 oclock positions respectively. Here is how the building orders were:
CbK_Chris666: I began with a build order of pylon, 2 gateways, an assimilator, a forbe, 3 cannons, a core, 6 more cannons (first three were destroyed), 2 pylons, a citadel of adun, 6 cannons near my nexus, a templar archives, and a robotics factory.
DL: DL began with a pylon, 2 gateways, a pylon, an assimilator, core, a robotics factory, 3 pylons, an observatory, a support bay, another robotics, and finally a geteway. He also expanded to his natural at the very end of the game.
The game began like any other game, with DL and I adding 5 more probes to our mineral lines. DL opted to go for the quick game and built two gateways, pumping out 3 zealots in turn. He also sent out a probe to go looking for me. I decided to get some defense first and then do a DT drop. I built a pylon, 2 gateways, an assimilator, and a forge. I pumped 2 zealots out of my gateways to prepare for an early attack. As I began to warp in my first 3 cannons, DL came charging in with three horny zealots, and they began to tear up the half warped things. First, one cannon popped up, and it killed 1 zealot before it was destroyed. The second one went down after two shots, and the third wasnt even halfway done. Deciding to engage him with my single zealot (my other one was still training), I managed to kill the first one with one hit and finished off the second one with two HP left. I realized that this kid was probably a newb, and put 6 more cannons up just in case he came again.
After that little episode, I decided to further my plan. I put two pylons and 6 cannons by my Nexus to prevent a drop, and next to those I warped in a Citadel. After that I warped in a Temple. Meanwhile, DL decided to drop me (haha, newb), and built a robotics factory and three pylons up. He built two shuttles up and filled them both up with goons and zealots. Just as my temple began warping in, he dropped me. First he had to pull his shuttle away to avoid my cannons. Then, he managed to land his units at the edge of the cannon's range, and sent them toward my mineral line. His attack was doomed from the start. As he moved his units toward my mineral line, they were jammed between a mountain and the mineral patches. Just as this happened, my Temple completed, and I put two DT's on order. After a short time, the DT's popped out, and they began to tear up the trapped units. I was bloody and efficient.
Back at Daemanland's base, he decided to go for a frontal assault on my base. He built an observatory, a support bay, and another robotics factory. He sent his army of about 3 lots, 6-7 goons, and a single reaver to the front of my base, along with a shutle and an observer. While he was doing this, I had built a robotics factory, a support bay, and two more gateways. I also researched Psionic Storm and pumped out 4 goons from my gateways. I loaded two DTs on my recently made shuttle and dropped them right on his mineral field at the EXACT same time that he began his attack. As the DT's began to tear up the probes at his base, his fat fuck reaver began to crawl forward, taking pot shots at my cannons. I realized I was going to die if I didnt do something fast. Just as the Psi Storm finished researching, I launched my counter attack. With my double force of TWO high templars, I stormed his reaver, and ALMOST managed to kill it. I finished it off with a single ball of light from my dragoon. Then the fight started to heat up. My psionic storm ripped open another two enemy goons, 2 zealots, and badly damaged two of my DTs. After about 10 seconds of fighting, 1 enemy goon remained. With relief, I finished it off with my last remaining DT.
At this time, the game was basically over. I had just pumped out 5 new DTs and two archons. With this powerful force, I easily anniliated his natural expansion. I continued my attack, and with relief I saw he had no cannons at his choke. With my small army, I began to tear up his base. One of his gay assed reavers managed to waste two DTs and damage the rest, but it was quickly destroyed with a few swipes from my invisible warriors. To beef up my army, i sent another archon and a templar. When he saw it was over, he said his "damn, ur goods", and the game was over.
To tell you all the truth, it was a great game, and at times I was scared shitless. I learned a few lessons during this time. Always put defenses around your mineral line. Never EVER pack your units between two tight places, and finally, beware of reavers, they are very effective against cannons. So, here my report ends. I hoped you enjoyed it, and please, leave a comment. Thanks.
