But, it is still a cool battle report.
GAME 1
ME=ZERG
FRIEND=ZERG
i don't know what the map was called, some relatively small square map with 8 mineral areas on the edges and maybe some more in other areas.
i started out in the east 3 position, while my zerg opponent started out in the northwest position.
i had a good placement of minerals and vespene gas that asked for more than one hatchery. so i built one over by the extractor i made so i could get vespene quicker, and i built two other hatcheries. a total of four. i can't remember if there was one or two geysers, oh well, sorry.
anyway, i dicided to build up to a hive very quickly and get this, the unstoppable opponent of mine came along with his attack force and roasted my hive as i had no military practically. Note this wasn't even five minutes into the game. i told all my awesome larve to turn into zerglings and hydralisks 6 larve were zerglings, 6 larve were hydralisks. i killed his attack force, started building another hatchery at the top right expansion he tried to attack it, and i roasted his excuse for an attack force.
At this point in the game it should be pointed out that while i was playing this game, i was a newbie, i was good, but i was a newbie, and could have played much better as you will soon see.
i immediately had started making one of my other hatcheries turn into a lair and then a hive. meanwhile, i started being a total retard. i decided to make sort of an offensive hatchery just below his base, but when i got there i had a few drones and some hydras with me and no overlord. i didn't realize i needed one. i sould have attacked when he was weak. that would have killed him but i didn't attack at all. my excuse: i was a newbie. heck, i was new with zerg, i forgot many things about them and this was one of my first non-newbie games with my friend, i was starting to get awesome at it, but alas, in battle he has a demon.
As ZERG my friend who was my opponent always researches burrow very early in the game and he makes awesome use of it. although not necesarily in this game, but, it did save his butt. i tried to build a hatchery and couldn't i was comepletely puzzeled as to why i couldn't.
the remainder of the the game was a blur.
I guess while i was comepletely clueless, the opponent decided to take certain measure to survive he built many hydras attacked my stupid hydras.
by the way, while i didn't know what was going on with his burrowed units, i started to do something smart, expand. but it didn't do me any good, i stopped defending myself and he roasted my main and any exppansions i might have had except one the one at the south, i didn't really do much i build a lair and a spire and maybe at the most 12 mutalisks but it did me no good in the end the game lasted a while my
opponent wanted to savor his victory so he expanded everywhere mad nydus canals every where, mad a hatchery north of my base made all of his canals point toward it, and told all his ultras to go to the spot north of my base and told all his marvelous mutalisks probably well over 36 of them to go surround my base and he attacked and killed my south dwelling.
Note: this last paragraph is kind of speculation.
GAME 2
ME=ZERG
FRIEND=ZERG
The game did not last long, and let me tell you now, i had got considerably more experience in the time since that last game.
The game did not last five minutes, because my opponent surrendered when he reallized he lost and rematched me and he used terrans twice and wooped my aaaa...well...you know what he wooped.
But as for when he was zerg, i became commander over him.
i started out kind of in the middle upper left in the world, i cannot explain this map well, because the game didn't last long but anyway, here's the report
i am not sure about the build because it was so long ago, but, i started out by like i think, telling my 8th drone to turn into an extractor. then i builtan ol then drones as soon as i could i told one drone to build a spawning pool and one to go to minerals, then i built another ol and another drone. then when the ol was done i built three drones and stuck them on the extractor. i built four zerglings and sent them to patrol to the right southern corner. they ended up attacking and killing all his zergling except one which probably had like 7 hps or something. and i built another hatchery and more zergings and i just kept sending them in and they killed the reinforcements he had and started killing his drones and then his two lairs that were stacked on eachother i attacked with three mutalisks at some point, and he conceded.
I was prepared. i owned him!! even if he didn't concede i had mutalisks, sunkens, expansions in just five minutes i thought of every contengency with zerg that is what you must do to your opponent. make it so that no matter what, he will die, and he has no choice in the matter.
That is how to play zerg use much variety, but sometimes you don't even need the whole tech tree at all in long games maybe all you'll need is ol's, mutas, lings, and defilers and maybe a few ultras or something like that you wouldn't need queens or hydras or ultras or gaurds against one thing that the opponent had, anyway i think i won this game because i attacked i aggressively and i prepared myself for anything and because i think my opponent tried to hydra drop me and i rushed him so he died, but it was fun and hey, i won.
