Polaris
Prime. It's a cozy map. A place you can go when you just wanna rip off the shields of a
nearby protoss and through them to the bengalass in the jungle. Polaris Prime. It's
where the wraiths roam free, and the muties fly around with out any overlord support. I
bring you...By Unpopular Demand!
Terran: Bottom Right Yellow
Zerg: Top Left Teal

Everyone started they're
build orders. I started taking notes immediately. Zerg's build order was a bit odd. He
went for a spawning pool before anything, on 7. I can understand he might have thought it
was a land map, but it was still a 256/256 . Terran on the other hand was going power
econ, having 14 scv's, and 2 supply depots before even starting on his barracks!
Talk about confident! When zerg had a gas, and a few zerglings (4) he started on his
second hatchery, positioned next to his spawning pool
I
see you notice my hatred of the spawning pool first build, eh? I don't normally use it,
and I don't suggest using it on a map larger than 128/128, islands or otherwise, you can
start creep colonies, and have overlords positioned so that by the time your spawning pool
is complete, you can have sufficent defense against rushes.
When his barracks was
complete terran had the required gas to create a factory, he did so immediately. Looking
at his peon line, a single storm could have killed probabally about 30 scvs. Niether
player knew the race of the other player just yet, but zerg had done a, in my opiniion,
stupid build. When his lair was complete he build a hydralisk den, and a Spire!
Muties are a bad idea against random. A toss player is bound to have several corsair on a
land map, they need large numbers to beat hydras agaisnt zerg, and they're just plain dumb
against a terran, unless he does a factory rush against you.
The terran was now starting on a starport. He
immediately created a few wraiths for scouting purposed His first wraith scouted out
towards the top, and then to the left. He found the zerg in the top left position,
directly across the huge map from him. As you see in the picture (top left of pic, bottom
right of pic) a wraith has just flown over the disgusting creep of the zerg. Almost
the same time, an overlord who has just recieved "pnuenimized carapace" picked
up his pace and flew directly into the terran wall of towers. Terran had set a tower at
about each corner, and a wall of mines right next to them. Zerg had obviously started the
Ventral Sacs upgrade first, because shortly after the overlords had picked up speed, he
started a small exspansion directly south of his main, while the terran started a CC to
float to a nearby exspansion
Right before the Command
Center is set to float off, the zerg makes contact again, this time trying to take a
turret down, a pack of wraiths hunt the mutalisks down and kill them before they get far,
though. 3 Overlords. Coming. Coming Closer. Terran had the right idea about scouting; he
just wasn't scouting often enough. He sent a wraith north of his base to scout, but
couldn't find anything. They're was nothing to find. The tired overlords came lurking into
the terran base after a short pause. Several wraiths noticed the intrusion and killed the
overlords before no more than 5 hydralisks got out. They killed a supply depot. Why, you
ask? Terran was planning a drop of his own! He had to unload his army of
M&M&Tanks. Fortunately they succeeded in wiping out the threat

The dropships reloaded the unharmed terran army, and
set forth to the zerg exspansion, where I promptly took "pics" as
IPlayThisToMuch requested
The tanks he had weren't sieged
right away for some reason, but they're we're only 3 hydras for defense. The marines did
what they could without medic support for stim healing, but the tanks we're needed to get
the job done before the Evil Crabs (AKA guardians) showed up. Well, guardians did show up,
and they did kill the marines. But the marines and tanks had already taken down the
hatchery, but the extractor was still there!

The guardians killed everything on the ground, and
muties killed the fleeeing transports. It appeared that the zerg had the upperhand, due to
tech advanatage, but he needed to take over 3-4 exspansions in quick succession if he had
anyplans for the future. While this was going on, terran had sent a weakling scv to the
middle to construct a "naked" expsansion. He was successful in creating a
command center there. He quickly had the minerals saturated, and a large fleet of wraiths
patrolling nearby.
The
zerg had morphed several more mutalisks, and some mutalisks into devourers. They we're
heading to the terran main, and we're almost sidetracked by a group of wraiths! The
wraiths headed towards the zerg exspansion, which had been rebuilt, and razed it,
destroying the hydralisks that we're defending it, by going into cloak and destroying the
overlord. The wraiths razed the exspansion, while the zerg air attacked the mineral only
terran exspansion. Cloaked wraiths killed the zerg air, but not before the guardians
killed the command center. A few valkyre's assisted the terran, but we're a bad idea
because the acid spores revealed a few of the wraiths. You see here how fast the
exspansion was falling.

The terran had no choice..He
had to expand again. He took another one of the mineral/gas exspansions in the center,
reinforcing with with mighty scv warriors. The wraiths, back from razing the zerg
exspansion, toppled upon more mutalisks and devourers, and we're forced to cloak and
destroy. An overlord was taken out first, but the wraiths prevailed, with the aid of 2
goliaths, who happened to be "on line"
F--14 was about to concede, all that remained now was the destruction of
the zerg base. He tried to make excuses, but we got pissed, and Mogalin decided to do this
as much fun as possible for him =]

Odd. I didn't know we had the option to fuck the
map.

Mogalin built a factory and 2 barracks nearby the zerg
main island, and also made a few battlecruisers. He floated the factory and barracks there
considerably before dropping, but the zerg intentionally ignored them. When the dropships,
wraiths, and battlecruisers finally came, it was carnage. The few remaining hydras died. 2
muties we're killed by goliaths. Marines stimmed. Arclite shells destroyed buildings. Then it stopped. A
sudden rain of silence. Then, it happened again. Everything at once. zerg building blood
was all over everything.

1. When the going get's tough,
make battlecruisers. I don't think it was tough enough
2. WTF is up with terran
beating zerg? This is why zerg units need to be invulnerable. K?
3. Zerg stated that he had
2000+ mins in the back. What I want to know it, WTF??? WHY DID YOU ONLY HAVE 2 HATCHERIES
AND WHY DIDNT YOU JUST MAKE SOME HYDRA AND TAKE AN EXSPANSION!!!!!!!!
4. This is going to get a 10.0
5. The force is strong with me.
Therefore I get a 10.0, right? Everyone loves my battlereports! Why don't they get to rate
them?
6. I rule because I'm only posting this once.
