NOTE: For all those 14 ( :( ) of you waiting with bated breath for Part Two of my Regicide series, I'm afraid I'm going to have to dissapoint. I've yet to play any good battles that I have found worthy of chronicling the next step in the bitter conflict between the Terran Dominion and the UED. Rest assured, as soon as I find a good battle, I'll report it (and with a few extra pictures as well!).
Anyway, I've found another decent game to show you, that definetely isn't the norm. Quite an interesting Melee-like UMS that one of my friends has made, and it's bound to raise a few smiles.
Enjoy!

Blatant Rip-off Section... 2!!!!! :
Hah, hah, yes, I know very well that this idea is fleeced RIGHT off King-Lewis' hide, but here are the latest of corny and downright daft jokes from the hallowed halls of the Chat Room of the best country EVER!!! (England, of course!)

Now that's over and done with, onto the BR!

Background:
INCOMING TRANSMISSION:
From: SA-13
To: High Command
CC: All forces
Telepathic duct: scribere quinque
Urgency: MAGENTA
Thought: The rewards of tolerance are treachery and betrayal
All troops, report in! The 'junglie' tribes have been acting up again. They're angry with us because they don't understand the film 'The Matrix'. They demand that we make films with lots of songs and dancing in, but absolutely no plot!
This cannot happen!
This WILL NOT happen!
We have sent troops into the deepest darkest rainforests of South America to nip this foul uprising in the bud!
What th-... ARRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Their vile control is already affecting us! This... this plot... makes no sense! I've... got a strange... uncontrollable desire... to... no, I won't... I WON'T!!! NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
(suddenly breaks out into a dance)
Hoi Hai!
(muffled sounds of fighting in the background)
Ah.... Ahem. I apologise. the commander is being... dealt with. In the mean time, I have taken over the briefing. Once your dropships have dropped you off with your men, your mission will be to establish your base camp and head out and make those 'junglies' pay for their crimes! They've set up in an important area because although our drop-zone is very, VERY low on resouces, our sensors have deteced ENORMUS mineral wealth nearby. Secure this at all costs, and use it against those vile 'junglies'! Oh, and a word of advice... the jungle's trees are your greatest asset. Use them wisely and those foul, wretched 'junglies' won't know what hit them. Good Luck!
TRANSMISSION ENDS
The Battle:
The creening cries of the jungle's inhabitants were silenced as the ear-bursting roar of retro jets filled the air. Its sillhouette marked out cleanly against the rising sun, the dropship fell from the heavens, its blue-hot engines shrivelling and torching the twisted maze of jungle undergrowth as it touched down, as gently as a feather. With the seething hiss of hydaulics and the whirr of gyros, the long, sleek, gunmetal grey ramp unfolded from the round and blackened underbelly of the gargantuan dropship. Amongst the thin misty clouds of hydraulic fluid, Searchlights stabbed out, hesitantly scanning the empty, darkened jungle around them. The tree cover was so thick that only a few beams of blessed sunlight could penetrate the barrier. And all about them was the thick, sulphrous, green gas that marked a Vespene Geyser and the glittering blue spires of minerals, humanity's most valuable commodity.
Cautiously, a small collumn of men, followed by the hulking forms of SCVs perched upon an ancient supply lorry, tramped down the ramp, guns drawn, hastily scanning their surroundings as if those vile betrayers of mankind's intelligence, the 'junglies' were all around them, waiting behind every bush and tree to strike.
Silence followed, broken only by the low drone of the lorry's engine as it ticked over. Silence.
A Parakeet let out a shrill cry. The soldiers tensed, guns suddenly cocked and resting in their sweating palms, turning round and round, waiting for the 'junglies' to strike. Silence once again settled on the small clearing, and the whooping crys of the junglies never split the air. The party, visibly relaxed and then the air was spilt with their own sounds as the SCV's engines burst into life and they started to manhandle great sheets of mineral reinfoced steel from the lorry and from within the great belly of the Dropship. Work was fast, and between the great lifting and cutting arms of the SCVs and the grunting and sweating muscles of the soldiers, a base was erected within the hour.

I didn't hesitate, and as soon as the CC and its four SCVs popped into view I immediately began production of another and ordered the four to start harvesting the meagre amount of minerals in my base. There was only a tiny amount (The briefing had been correct) but I was determined to use them rather than sit idle.
I continued to produce SCVs, sending one to a new mineral patch the moment it was finished. I diverted two to build structures, and in a while I had my base looking like this:

Now came the all important expansion, the move that would decide the whole battle. My in-base minerals were running out even now, so I quickly ran a couple of SCVs with only ONE marine for support to the centre of the field, where the enormous resouce node was.
I hurriedly began to construct another Command Centre at this expansion, and I couldn't have chosen a better time, for at that moment, two 'Junglies', under the command of my arch-rival, 'Robert's Bane' (as my Friend Kiran is so fond of calling me... out of God-only-knows how many battles, I haven't beat him at all. Not once. (gulp) marched straight into the tiny clearing. I thought I was finished, but luckily the trees proved their worth (if your men hide in a tree the enemy's hit ratio is reduced by a considerable amount) and under that cover my brave marine managed to silence both of the 'junglies' on his own! The 'junglies' traitourous bodies were left to rot in the jungle undergrowth. Breathing a sigh of relief, I continued to build my expansion.

After I finished my CC, I reinforced my fledgeling expansion with a fresh batch of marines and placed them in a bunker next to my CC, and started to mine from there.
Then, from the edges of my vision, I saw a curious looking heap of metal, played about by the blue hue of a fusion cutter.
Robert's Bane was trying to box me in with Bunkers!

I replied in kind, and maged to beat off Bane's party, but was then forced back again by a fresh surge of his troops. As I dropped back to lick my wounds, the cursed 'junglies' finished off the bunker!

Ok, so I had lost that battle, but it wasn't over yet.
A few seconds later, and it seemed that it would be.

Thanks to the disastrous placing of my Bunker, Bane and his accursed 'junglies' were allowed to get through to the south of my expansion unmolested, and promptly began to batter away at the walls of my CC. I sent an SCV to build a bunker to defend it, but the 'junglies' automatically switched to it, and it was blown apart as a bullet detonated his power pack. I had no choice but to cancel the bunker to avoid losing 100 incredibly (in this map) valuable minerals and lift off the CC (Which the 'junglies' were having a field day shredding ) and fly it to another tiny clearing nearby.
I began to construct another bunker, but then the bastard 'junglies returned AGAIN and now I had no choice but to empty my bunkner to chase off the 'junglies', re-lift off my CC and return it to its original posistion. So preoccupied was I with this, I never noticed the forces building up on the edge of my vision...
I could only watch on in dismay as my exp went from this...

In a word...
CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the sort of moment that psychiatrists tell you to laugh...
Okokokokok, let's take stock of the situation...
Expansion: reduced to molten slag.
Home base: mined out.
Troops about half a dozen marines.

Fortunately for me, I never say die (oops, said it just now), so I decided to press on.
I hurriedly pumped marines with what little minerals that I had left, and steeled myself for the coming 'Junglies' already their barbaric whooping war-cries were screaming over the jungle air....

I sent in all the troops I had left, and managed to puree a few 'junglies', but seeing as how they had medics, you can proably guess the outcome.

There was nothing I could do, and I could only watch as my base fell in ruins.

So desperate was I, I immediately initaited the last-chance action. This ultimate destroyer, it would reveal carnage on such an enormous scale that everything for miles around coated in gore. So terryfying is it, that people have willingly blinded themselves to avoid the sheer... horror.

What was the outcome? I'll give you three guesses.
Things were rapidly going to pot. My base was being obliterated before my very eyes, and all the time more troops were arriving. I could only watch as the end came

And with that, the accursed 'junglies' were able to spread their unholy and inane dancing a little further...
My biggest mistake in this game was the poor placing of the bunker defending my expansion. With some more sensible placing, it would have been able to fend off the attacks on the CC and stop me having to divert so much attention to making it safe, which led to my downfall. The CC at my expansion was also a blooper, for it was only a 64x64 map, so the SCVs would have taken no time at all to reach home base. However, that would have left Bane's 'junglies' free to intercept them, so it was between choosing the lesser of two evils.
What do you think? comments will be much appreciated.
