Welcome Ladie's and Gentlemen to my first very own battlereport. Before you read, I must tell you that this is done with MS Paint.... I couldn't dload paintshop pro because.... well, because my comp sucks. I have done my best and I hope its good enough to get a decent rating.
Okay, enough of this b.s. lets get onto the report.

In case you didn't look at the pic, or MS Paint really f'ed it up the game is as follows:
SCV~007 chose Terran and landed at the top position of the map Bone Canyon.
His opponent, Traditions, randomed to Terran at the bottom position.
There build orders went something like this:

After the initial build, SCV sends out an scv to scout... he makes it to Traditions base after a shortstop at 3:00. The Scv however, doesnt manage to make it pass the ramp.

Traditions opts to scout with a marine. He finds SCV at the top position. Traditions seeing a chance for containment sends 2 vultures and they lay down mines in the canyon leading to SCV's main.

After that there isn't much action as each player opts to tech farther up the tech tree. They each have a defense consisting of siege tanks. Each player, knowing that they can hold off an early terran attack with just a few tanks, feel safe in exploiting the tech tree. Let's see who gets to do the exploiting first.

As you can see (If I'm not a complete chobo with html), SCV wins the race to tech. However much to my surprise I don't see the little starport lights blinking. I was thinking maybe he forgot a depot or is a little short on cash... so I stare at the screen a while longer.... Still nothing.... I look around his base and see if maybe his attention is elsewhere.... Turret, Engineering Bay, Science Facilty w/cover ops, Supply depot....
Whoa! Science Facilty! Covert Ops! Ghosts!!! WTF? Already?

However odd this strategy maybe, it could prove to be effective. As of now, Traditions had SCV's canyon mined, but not so much that SCV couldn't expand with ease, and a wraith on his way to SCV. While SCV had teched all the way up to ghosts and had enough defense to halt a ground attack long enough to get lockdown.
Traditions sends in his first wraith hoping to get free recon, he finds a bit more than that.... he finds the Scv Shooting Gallery.

Turrets are hastily erected and the wraith retreats after about half a dozen kills. However, Traditions presses the attack. He brings up a tank. and uses the wraith to spot. The target of choice is the covert ops. So much for tech.... SCV moves his sci. facility. Luckily he managed to research lockdown and build a few ghosts. The attack is taken care of with the help of lockdown.

Both players take the oppurtunity to expand to their naturals. During a lull in the action each player builds more. Traditions has a total of 3 factories and 2 starports, while SCV adds another 2 barracks to his already 1 barracks, factory, and starport. He also adds a nuclear silo to his natural cc.

Traditions expands to his mineral while amassing a huge force of tanks, vultures and wraiths at the mouth of SCV's canyon. SCV in need of better recon sends out a marine to scout. The marine is liquified in a matter of seconds. SCV, realizing he is in dire straits (no not the map) launches a nuke at the army from the plateau expansion close to his main. While the nuke is launching he also expands there.

Traditions spots the nuke just in time and manages to retreat most of his army. However, SCV still got a good 4 or 5 tanks and a couple vulture. Not to mention one marine. (Revenge for the liquification of his scout).

The nuke doesn't slow Traditions down and he soon expands again. He harasses SCV with his wraiths causing him to cancel a cc he was building at his mineral. However SCV also expands to 9:00's main. He aslo also expands 3:00's main, natural, and mineral.... Yes, thats right he owns half of the map now. Not to mention he just wiped out all ofSCV's scvs (hehe) at the plateau expansion.

A lot of expanding just happened. Let's look at the minimap.

Whoops forgot to tell ya Traditons grabbed his own mineral and has been upgrading. From the looks of the map I believe you can tell who won this one. I will save you the bore of reading a twenty minute long battle of constant fighting. Instead I will make a nice fiery collage.

(BTW, SarcasticSage was a fellow observer) Despite the gosu use of lockdowns, SCV is overrun by the forces of Traditions being constantly replaced by about 10 or so factories. It was a fun game and I hope my breport isn't too crappy. Any comments/criticism welcome. Next report I should have a better photoediting program.
