And my last fan fic did deserve a 4 because it was kinda broken and descriptions were broken. I hope noone is actually offended by this BR and this is NOT fan fic, this is BR! Hopefully the Pics work, I'm pretty sure it'll work, but still... Oh yea, ithink the alt text works... look at it... try it
From now on, I'll be alternating between fan fic and br. Also, forget about the Zeratul's Elite stuff. I'll be making something about Kerrigan dying, then resurrecting in a Protoss-made-Dragoon-with-human-looks. She can ensnare and all that crap, and she can shoot long range now. AHEM IM NOT PoA!!!! And I didnt intentionally steal his name, I wanted a Praetor name, and since .Praetor and Praetor had been taken (envy hehe) I pick the next best thing... PraetorOfAuir.
Now lets begin, shall we? (Insert that StarWars thing. I remember someone doing that and that was really cool. Plz tell me how to do that in the comments) The Players are Protoss Liquid'Drone and Zerg Kaz![Earth]. For my already half dead fingers from my FT project, I'll call them Drone, and Kaz. Now, feeling kinda cocky that I could see full map, I said Now Drone, being the guy who shoots down my hopes, said...
Now for the quick profile of each player.
Drone, has been a long time nohrs, and is really friendly. Though observer are supposed to be seen but not heard, he has been willing to talk to me even while he is microing. He has not been on BW for along time, but he has been the most friendly player of all the games I have watched. He has both good micro and macro skills, being able to quickly bring his templars to storm in the case of a flank.
Kaz, has been a long time x17 I think. I have never seen him online since that time I was observing, but he always quips even when he was facing storms. He macros like anything and "dodges storm like he actually knows what he is doing" (thx comment).
Drone starts off as Protoss at 6 and Kaz starts off as Zerg at 12. Both Players clone their peons and start. Drone's build order is something like this: pylon at eight, gate at 10, assimilator at 12, cyb at 14, gate at 15 and techs toward reavers.
Kaz's build order is something like this: hatch at 12, hatch at 13 @ natural, spawning pool at 14 assimilator at 14. Drone sends a probe to scout, and finds six zerglings at the choke. Though I thought the probe would die right there, the probe actually made it past and ran back and forth from the natural to the main about 3 times, until 3 more drones were sent on the probe hunt, blocked the ramp, and cornered the probe by the hatchery. Minimap update:The first attack begins when Kaz sends twelve zerglings on a semi rush. Defending the ramp are 2 zealots, and 1 dragoon. This may be the earliest and most critical battle of the game. Since if the zerglings get past, then they could do big damage to buildings, but probably not probes since the probes would fight back. Also, even if Drone sends his probes against the zerglings, the probes would lose some mining time, which is critical in the early game.
Zealots slashed and Dragoons opened their holes and a ball comes from it as the zerglings pounced. The Protoss force won with both Zealots in red and the Dragoon untouched. Maybe if Kaz followed up on this attack, he would have won, but Kaz just happily teched to hydralisks. Silence follows as both players tech. Somehow, Drone has never, NEVER let his nexus stop flashing with his probes coming out. He could make a probe army!
Suddenly, the silence is broken as a big flying thing runs around the creep and unloads... A SPANKING REAVER AND A DRAGOON!
Doesn't take much to kill this, but the zerglings are at the entrance. Kaz reacts quickly, as his Drones move away. The reaver probably only took out 3 drones and 1 hydralisk. Before the Drones scurried away. Drone quickly loads his Dragoon and Reaver back in the shuttle and flys away before any of the Zerg come. He drops his dragoon on the cliff and the Dragoon kills some hydralisks and drones since they don't have range upgrade until Kaz sends them away from the cliff. He will not be mining gas from his natural for a while. Kaz sent 2 hydralisks patrolling for other big flying thingies.
Again the Silence is broken by another reaver drop by our favorite BW player, Ahem.... well, maybe not yours but... fine maybe not mine either but he is good... KAZ! erm imean DRONE!! Now this time though, 2 hydralisks badly damage the shuttle and as the reaver kills the hydralisks, some more hydralisks come. The reaver suceeds in destroying the extractor and some drones and around 5 hydralisks. then, as reinforcements arrive I say "" Then, when Hydralisk range was researched... let the pic show what happens.
Drone takes his natural and warps in a gateway and a cannon behind it. He also takes his mineral only and 9 main natural. But the 9 Main natural is discovered and a pack of Hydralisks were sent to it. Kaz has not been idle, and has expanded to the 3 main. This expo is discovered and put an end to before it finishes.
Drone, obviously grieving for his expo, sent his WHOLE army to the Zerg main. Let the pics so what happened. Minimap update
If you could see on the minimap, Kaz had a small pack of hydras at front and huge hydras at back. This flank worked partly and more Protoss were killed than if they were actually fighting front to front. But Protoss had a BIG advantage... smaller are the templars but the Reavers... wow! To make it short, Protoss won.
