LurkerBurger7's BR 1:
A Brotherly Brawl
Intro:
Sibling rivalry has always been immensely present between my bro (a.k.a. the-nut)
and I. Ever since we were little, we've challenged eachother in various
activities such as basketball, N64 games, and eventually Starcraft. The
game called "Starcraft" quickly grew to be our most favorite game ever (Of course, Diablo LOD, and CS ain't bad either).
So over the next couple of months, we were asking ourselves the question,
WHO WAS BETTER?
Finally, we got a chance to duke it out over the map called
Blue Night Seoul.

LURKERBURGER7
VS
THE-NUT
Beginning:
Both LurkerBurger7 and The-Nut began gathering resources. They spent most of the early part of the game mustering defense.
-The Defenses After 10 Minutes-
LurkerBurger7:
Simply,
LurkerBurger7
had a pentagon formation of photon cannons at the entrace of the base, strategically formulated to take down most Terran ground assaults. He also had some Protossian infantry (1 upgraded in all infantry aspects, including faster zealots and farther dragoon range) with a few shield batteries.
The-Nut:
The-Nut's defense was also rather basic. He had 5 bunkers, all filled fully with marines (1 upgraded attack & farther range) and backed up by 4 missle turrets. He began to manufacture tanks and upgraded siege mode.
Middle:
The middle of the game had a lot more excitement. Both players began to advance rapidly.
The-Nut
started his 4 starports. He was set on his first attack:
cloaked wraiths into his brother's probes.
Meanwhile at his opponent's base,
LurkerBurger7
had set up more cannons but still had some vulnerable spots on the perimeter of his base.
LurkerBurger7
seemed to be advancing slightly faster than
The-Nut
. He already was building 6 Carriers and had 2 Observers.
OFFENSIVE MOVE NUMBER ONE
Just before
LurkerBurger7's
Carriers were done,
The-Nut
snuck through one of the flaws in
LurkerBurger7's
cannon defense with his cloaked Wraiths. Luckily,
LurkerBurger7
had observers and 7 spare Dragoons. The Wraiths attacked the Probes, but at the same time, the Dragoons pummeled the Wraiths. After
The-Nut's
Wraiths were vanquished,
LurkerBurger7
was left with 4 Probes and a slightly damaged Nexus. None of the Dragoons were lost.
LurkerBurger7's
Carriers had just finished (Horrible Timing !).
*Note:
This would have been an excellent oppertunity for
LurkerBurger7
to attack with these Carriers, but instead he built an additional 18 Dragoons, making a total of 25.
LurkerBurger7
gathered his force of Goons and attacked
The-Nut's
base.
OFFENSIVE MOVE NUMBER TWO
With his brother's attack force down,
LurkerBurger7
figured that his Dragoon squad should do some scalable damage. But he was greatly mistaken.
The-Nut
had a basicly unbreachable base defense. He still had 5 Bunkers with those Marines and Turrets to back em up. But he did have an addition.
TANKS
.
LurkerBurger7's
Dragoon force had started to take its toll on the Bunkers, but the Tanks were creaming. Two Dragoons were lost every second. Between the Bunkers and the Tanks,
LurkerBurger7
knew he had to go air. So he watched the last of his Dragoons turn into a blue puddle and tried to resurrect a plan.
How it Ends:
LurkerBurger7
had devised a plan. He was gonna take down
The-Nut's
base the best way he thought possible.
Carriers.
But he knew he had to add a little trick to the action. He was going to use Recall on his forces in a vulnerable location in
The-Nut's
base.
The Details
LurkerBurger7:
So,
LurkerBurger7
booted up his Stargates. He already had 6 Carriers and he hastely added to his collection. He began to upgrade Recall Ability for Arbiters and build some Observers. After an elapsed time of 10 minutes,
LurkerBurger7
had an armada to be taken seriously. It consisted of 16 Carriers, 4 Observers, and 2 Arbiters. Not to make
The-Nut
sound helpless or anything. He had mustered up 14 extra Wraiths with the addition of 6 Valks. No doubt, he had a defense that would not be easily breached.
LurkerBurger7
had sent an Observer over to his enemies base and had seen the dangers that awaited. But he was getting annoyed of waiting and you probably are too so without any further a due...
OFFENSIVE MOVE NUMBER THREE (The Final Strike)
LurkerBurger7
sent in his Arbiter, completely unescorted to
The-Nut's
stronghold. His Observer had found a miniscule opening in the enemy's turrets and thats exactly where
LurkerBurger7
guided his Arbiter. This was the game-deciding move right here and boy did he know it. He gathered up his witts and pressed the Recall Button.
LurkerBurger7's
entire army of Zealots, Dragoons, Carriers, Observers, and the Arbiter itself was at
The-Nut's
base right then. The Battle of the Bros had begun. Swarms of Interceptors flew out of the Carriers as the Zealots and Dragoons attacked the oncoming Goliaths and Marines.
The-Nut's
Wraiths and Valkeries mercilessly assaulted the Carriers themselves and did an extreme amount of damage. Eventually, the Carriers had beaten
The-Nut's
navy but it only left a total of 5 Carriers. All of the ground forces on either side had been wiped out. Just the Interceptors were chipping away, building by building.
The-Nut
had not given up. With his good resources, he summoned 7 SCV's to build Missle Turrets around his Command Center. They soon accomplished this task, and
The-Nut
had something to look up to yet. As
LurkerBurger7's
Carriers advanced, they ran into
The-Nut's
turrets.
As being only 5 Carriers,
LurkerBurger7
was unable to overpower the turrets. One by one, Interceptors exploded in the air. As
LurkerBurger7
was distracted with rebuilding his Interceptors,
The-Nut
unloaded his Marines from his Bunkers and attacked the enemy Carriers.
LurkerBurger7's
Carriers were finally exterminated.
LurkerBurger7
congratualated his opponent.
The-Nut
congratualated his opponent, but he had something else to say...
...and left the game.
As the situation being considered a forfeit, this games winner is...
THIS HAS BEEN A
